

I had the opportunity to visit Walmart’s eCommerce Headquarters in San Bruno California this week for the first Seller Immersion Event.
A few things stood out:
– Walmart brings 60+ years of retail experience to eCommerce and they want to help sellers win. They’re listening and working to improve the marketplace daily. When sellers win, Walmart wins, and most importantly, the customer wins.
– Walmarts investing in tools and programs to improve Seller Fulfilled
– Lost in Transit and Lost after Delivery protections
– Keep It Rules – saving sellers millions in return shipping fees
– Replacements – reducing refunds and improving customer experience
– Networking is Undefeated – had great conversations with sellers across almost every category all working to improve their business on Walmart.
At the end of the event, I had the opportunity to share my biggest takeaway and how I see our business evolving on Walmart with the group before a fun night at Topgolf.
